Calvin Tak Chi NGAN born in Hong Kong in 1994.

Currently, he works with Cie Marchepied, a contemporary dance company

located in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In 2018, he graduated in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts,

major in contemporary dance and choreography.

During his study, he performed in Macau, Beijing, Shanghai (China) and Penang (Malaysia).

Afterwards, he worked as a freelancer, in cooperation with inspiring local artists and companies. In the summer, he received scholarships to join PARTS and Henny Jurriëns Stichting summer intensive in Brussels (Belgium) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

In 2019, he moved to Amsterdam to continue his practice, participated

Amsterdam University of the Art, the first edition of Expanded Contemporary Dance.

At the meanwhile, he constantly creating with his partner Marita Schwanke.

In the summer, they joined B12 and Portugal dance festival in Berlin (Germany) and Torres Vedras (Portugal).

In January 2020, he became a member of Cie Marchepied,

in direction of Nicholas Pettit and Corrine Rochet.

In July and August 2020, he will be back to his homeland Hong Kong,

to re-explore this miracle place.
